Want to learn how to row ????

Barnes Bridge Ladies Rowing Club (BBLRC) is soon to commence its next Learn to Row course.

To kick-start the course we will be holding a Q&A meeting on Sunday 27th September at 1pm at the BBLRC clubhouse. This will be an opportunity for people to come along and find out more about the course and what it involves, get to know the people that will be running it and others that maybe doing it and ask any questions about absolutely anything (rowing related at least!).

The course will run on weekends only (both Saturday and Sunday afternoon) for approx. 8 weeks for a cost of £100. We will explain at the meeting what this will involve and how much you will gain from the experience. BBLRC is an incredibly fun and friendly environment with people from all over the world (we also share the boathouse with a mens rowing club, Cygnet).

If you do plan to come along could you please email me confirmation by September 20th. jo(dot)moir(at)gmail(dot)com

Directions: The BBLRC boathouse is situated across Barnes Bridge (on the opposite side of Barnes town). When you cross the bridge follow the steps and path along the river front and you will come across two boathouses, the first being Emanuel School and BBLRC is right next door. There are steps leading down to the clubroom on the right of the boathouse.

The postcode for satnavs or iPhones is: W4 2UH

Have a look around the web site to get a feel for what it is all about.
