So it was a sad end to the Head season with the disappointing cancellations of the Mens Head of the River Race which was due to take place on Saturday and Sunday’s Veterans Head of the River Race. The river conditions have been challenging over the last few weeks and based on the projected weather for the weekend both committees, understandably, made the decisions to cancel the events.
