I was only going to send these fortnightly, but there’s just too much to say.
Pairs Head
Really well done to everyone competing in the Pairs Head today (and boo to Furnivall for running into Clemmy and Abi). We had a win in the senior pairs for Zoe and Annabelle, and some very good results for the other BBL crews. I hope everyone is really pleased with a good day’s racing.
HUGE thank you to Clare and the army of volunteers who baked cakes and helped with the catering effort. An initial count suggests we raised well over £300 in profit, which is great going. You’ve all got a bit of a respite now till the 4s Head at the end of November.
Rhine Marathon
By all accounts a very good time was had by all. Apparently BBL quad came second in something called ‘Langsamstes Boot in der Wertung’ – translations welcome!
