Want to row in a friendly atmosphere, with competitive and social rowers on a beautiful stretch of the river Thames? Barnes Bridge Ladies Rowing Club (BBLRC) is the club for you!
We have both Novice & Senior squads. If you have never rowed before we do run a course for complete beginners who want to learn to row, called Get fit and row.
New to rowing? What to learn to row? Get fit and row courses
Our next Get fit and row course will start in July. Register your interest and we’ll get in touch nearer the time.
Experienced rowers are always welcome at any time. We can arrange for you to join us an outing and a look around the club. Drop us a note and someone will be in touch to arrange.
We were previously known at the Civil Service Ladies Club, and our boathouse is supported by the Civil Service Sports Council. You do not have to be a Civil Servant to join, but if you are, your subscriptions are reduced if you are also a member or linked member of the CSSC.
So, how much does it cost?
Memberships Fees for 2016/17:
CSSC member: £350
Non CSSC member: £430
Coxing member: £65
Country member: £120 for occasional users
Prices are per year, running from September to August and subs are due by 31st December. If you pay by direct debit, you can split the subs into four equal instalments payable in September, October, November and December.
Don’t forget your membership also includes unlimited access to our club gym!
If you join part way through the year, you may be able to pay a pro-rata amount to take you to the end of the year, at the discretion of the Captain.
